EDIT:  Due to the cancellation of the Homecoming Game,  YOUTH FOOTBALL DAY  has been rescheduled to Friday, October 15th.  Please join us at the Varsity Game!

This Friday before the homecoming football game middle school players and coaches will be introduced!

Players will get into the game at no charge with a game jersey on.  Any parents wishing to attend will need to pay the $4 admission fee.  

Here is how the introduction procedure will work:

Players should line up near the South end of the track at 6:35 p.m. 

Once at the entrance, please line players up by numerical order (smallest to largest).  Introductions will start with 4th grade youth team and end with OMS.  The player’s number and name will be read off over the intercom system and the player will get to run across the track. 

Once the team is done, they will form a “Tunnel” near the main entrance of the track onto the football field.  This usually takes place with 8 minutes left on the game clock.

We hope to see you at the game in all your Blue and Gold to cheer on our varsity team!!

The OMS team is still getting acclimated to their gear so we will ease into full uniforms.  Today the boys practiced in their helmets.  Tomorrow (8/24) they should have helmets and their mouth guards (molded to fit).  We will gradually add practice gear so everyone can get used to what they have.  

The boys did not get their game jerseys today . . .  those will come.  Instructions will come everyday, for what is needed for the next practice.  

IMPORTANT:  The uniforms did not come with socks, players will have to provide their own.  Please try to get your boys blue football socks in time for the first game.
